Zagreb Indoors: Andreas Seppi sets up final with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez

Andreas Seppi: Enjoying a rich vein of form

Andreas Seppi continued his good form to set up a Zagreb Indoors final against Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.

The Italian secured his 10th singles win this year in defeating Marcel Granollers of Spain 7-6 (7-5) 6-1 on Saturday in Croatia.

Seppi, in Zagreb for the first time since the inaugural event in 2006 and recent conqueror of Roger Federer in the Australian Open, took the first-set tie-breaker on his second set point and was in cruise-control as he secured his spot in Sunday's final.

Garcia-Lopez beat 2007 champion Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus 6-4 6-4 in the other semi-final. Baghdatis was appearing in his first ATP semi-final since Brisbane in January 2013, but rarely threatened the Spaniard.

Both sets were tight affairs with Garcia-Lopez forcing an early break, but despite allowing his opponent to fight back, he soon seized the advantage with a break for 5-4 in the second set to ease over the line.

Garcia-Lopez said: "After I broke back in the beginning of the first set I found very good rhythm. I am very happy to be in the final."
