WE’VE all heard and seen drunk people talking to themselves — but this man unexpectedly took the meaning to a whole new level.
Marcus Gray, from Oxford in England, was hitting the town on the weekend to celebrate his friend’s last night at home before heading overseas.
Around 4am the next morning the 19 year old sent a text to a mate named Alex asking him: “Are you in town.”
Soon after a heavily intoxicated Gray returned home and stumbled into bed, replying to his own message “Nah mate I’m home now.”

— Marcus (@_marcusgray_) February 1, 2015 Now, most people would keep this mishap quiet, but a blurry eyed Marcus discovered the mix up and posted it on social media where it has been shared thousands of times.
“It was a pretty normal night we had a good few drinks then before I left I sent Alex a text to see if he was still out,” het told The Mirror.
“Later on when I got home I was obviously still drunk and replied to myself.
“It was only the next morning when I got up that I realised what I had done and how stupid I was!
“I showed my friends and they were all laughing so I thought I’d just put it on Twitter — it’s crazy how it’s exploded!” he added.
My parents can't make up their minds whether they're relatively proud or horribly embarrassed by my recent Drunken antics.
